About Vision Roam
Vision Roam is a visual merchandising design studio that plans, designs, fabricates and installs retail environments. Our team covers visual merchandising design, window display design and retail display installation design in one place, which means the concept drawn in week one is the build that arrives on site in week six.
Our production capability is deliberately in-house: custom mannequins, custom retail display props, custom garment racks, custom rugs and soft furnishings, and custom decorative glass are all made by our own workshop. Clients include fashion brands, department stores, hotels and shopping centres — among them China Hotel, Beijing Fengke Wanda, Marriott and LESS (JNBY).
Whether you need a single seasonal shop window or a complete store rollout, the same discipline applies: solve the brief, build something that survives being touched every day, and install it when the store is closed.

Custom Garment Racks
Custom garment racks in metal, wood and mixed media — wall hanging systems, floor-standing merchandisers and boutique fixtures, sized to your floor plate and finished to match the brand.
Custom Rugs & Soft Furnishings
Hand-tufted and hand-knotted custom rugs, runners, cushions and soft furnishings. Colour and pile developed to your brand palette, sized for awkward retail floors or hospitality interiors.
Custom Decorative Glass
Fused, sandblasted, etched, blown and coated decorative glass for displays, partitions and installations — one-off statement pieces included, with templates and safety certification supplied.

How We Work
Every visual merchandising design and retail display installation project runs the same five stages, so you always know what happens next and what you need to send us.
Brief & Concept
We take the brief, the floor plan, brand guidelines and sales calendar, then return a themed concept with mood boards and the customer journey sketched out.
Design & Engineering
Detailed elevations, 3D renders, material and colour samples, and fabrication drawings for every custom prop, rack, mannequin, rug and glass panel.
Prototype & Approval
Custom mannequins and hero props are prototyped for sign-off first, so finishes, scale and durability are confirmed before a production run begins.
Fabrication
In-house workshop production: metalwork, resin and fibreglass, carpentry, hand-tufting and glass. Each unit is pre-assembled and test-fitted before packing.
Delivery & Installation
Crated shipping with assembly drawings worldwide, or on-site installation by our own team — typically overnight, so the store reopens on schedule.

What is visual merchandising design?
Visual merchandising design is the practice of planning and building the physical presentation of a retail space so products are seen, understood and bought. It covers concept and theme development, spatial planning and circulation, fixture and prop specification, colour and material selection, lighting, signage and graphics, and the final on-site installation.
What is the difference between window display design and retail display installation design?
Window display design is the curated presentation facing the street, where storytelling, hero products and lighting decide whether a passer-by walks in. Retail display and installation design covers the whole interior: wall systems, freestanding fixtures, floor graphics and the technical drawings, fabrication and installation schedule that put them in place.
Can Vision Roam produce custom mannequins from our own designs?
Yes. Send sketches, photographs or 3D files and we produce a prototype for approval before the production run. Mannequins are made in fibreglass, resin, metal and painted or soft-touch finishes, in standard retail sizes or fully custom proportions.
Do custom retail display props and garment racks ship internationally?
Yes. Every prop and rack is engineered to be knocked down, flat-packed or crated with assembly drawings, so retail display installations can be shipped to shopping malls, hotels and stores worldwide and assembled on site without specialist tools.
What does a typical project timeline look like?
A typical engagement runs four to eight weeks: concept and mood boards in week one, detailed design and material samples in weeks two and three, fabrication in weeks three to six, and factory pre-assembly, shipping and on-site installation in the final week. Rush programmes for seasonal campaigns are possible when booked early.
Do you handle small quantities of custom rugs and decorative glass?
Yes. Beyond large contract runs we take on one-off pieces: a single hand-tufted rug sized to an awkward retail floor, or a one-off fused or sandblasted glass panel to complete a private or hospitality interior.
