Retail Display & Installation Design
This is the engineering half of visual merchandising: the wall systems, freestanding fixtures, floor graphics and signage that turn a concept into something that can be built, crated, shipped and installed overnight in a live trading store.
Start a ProjectFrom concept to a buildable package
Most installation problems are design problems that were never resolved. A fixture that will not fit through the loading door, a fixing that damages a heritage wall, a crate that exceeds the freight limit for the destination country — all of these are decided at the drawing stage, and all of them are cheap to fix there and expensive to fix on site at 2am.
Our retail display and installation design work treats the whole chain as one object. We produce scaled drawings, material schedules and fabrication details; we engineer every element to break down for freight; we pre-assemble and test-fit in the workshop; and we supply the assembly manual and supervision that make installation a routine operation rather than an event.
Rollouts and single sites
We run both: a single flagship installation, and a rollout across many stores or an entire shopping centre where consistency matters more than individuality. For rollouts we build a documented standard with a limited variant set, so every site can be installed by local labour from the same manual while still looking like one brand.

Retail Display & Installation Design FAQ
What is included in a retail display installation design package?
Scaled elevations and plans, a fixture and material schedule, fabrication drawings for every custom element, graphic artwork files, an electrical and lighting layout, an assembly manual, and a programme showing what happens on each installation night. You get a package your own contractors could also build from if you prefer to self-install.
How do you make displays shippable for overseas installation?
Every element is designed to break down into flat-pack or crated modules sized to standard freight, with fixings bagged and labelled per module and an assembly manual included. Modules are pre-assembled and test-fitted in the workshop first, so the pieces arrive already proven to go together.
Do you manage installation on site?
Yes. We can supply our own installation teams who work to a night-time programme, or we can support your local fit-out contractor with drawings, video walkthroughs and remote supervision during the first install. Many clients start with the former and move to the latter as volumes grow.
What about building regulations, fire safety and accessibility?
We design to the fire rating and clearance requirements of the market we are installing into, and produce the documentation your landlord or building management will ask for. Circulation widths, accessible routes and fixings that do not damage the fabric of the building are treated as design constraints from the start, not as problems found on site.
